Before his retirement in 2008, Kenney Hegland taught law for 30 years at the University of Arizona. He has also taught law at UCLA and Harvard. Prior to teaching, he practiced law in California. He has degrees from Stanford, U.C. Berkeley, and Harvard. Two of his books are widely used in the nation's law schools: Trial and Clinic Skills and Introduction to the Study and Practice of Law. His most recent book is for the general audience: Alive and Kicking: Legal Advice for Boomers.
